The Kingdom of Hyrule
The sacred land of Hyrule has been around for many centuries and has seen much conflict in it's time. In ancient times, it was run by the angelic goddess known as 'Hylia' who who led a tribe that dominated an unnamed, lush forest expanse with many rivers. This expanse was later to be named Hyrule by it's inhabitants who referred to themselves as 'Hylian' after their goddess. This later led to the creation of the Kingdom of Hyrule, with the Royal Family said to be direct blood descendants of Hylia herself. Hyrule Castle was built on a hill overlooking Hyrule field and later gave rise to a large community known as 'Castle town' or 'The Market'. After a few conflicts with the neighboring races, many Hylians left the city, forming smaller communities around the Kingdom. Eventually, large walls were built around Castle Town and the temple of time, which was built by the original King Darius at the entryway to the Sacred Realm.
The Sacred Realm holds the key to obtaining the Triforce of power, an ancient relic left behind by the three legendary goddesses Din, Nayru and Farore. It was said, that anyone who controls the Triforce, may have whatever his heart desires for the rest of his existence. This has tempted the hearts of many, Hylian or not and has been the root of many wars. Though the entryway remains sealed inside of the Temple of time, it is impossible to open the door to the sacred realm without possessing all three spiritual stones and the Ocarina of time. After sealing the door closed, the goddess Hylia created the three spiritual stones and the Ocarina of time and gave them to the four major races that occupied her kingdom. The Goron received the Spiritual stone of Fire, the Zora received the Spiritual Stone of Water and the Kokiri obtained the Spiritual Stone of the Forest. The Royal family was to posses the Ocarina of time and the sacred melody needed to open the door. Rather than balance out racial power, it caused severe tension among the races, leading to wars, infighting and death.
With the death of King Darius III of Hyrule Castle, his son took control of the Kingdom as Darius IV. He was both young and ambitious and did a lot to improve the quality of living for his people. At the moment, he is still the King (Age 35) and after 40 years of peace, tensions rose once again. A conflict has started on the border of Goron territory just outside of Death mountain. A few town guards had gotten into a confrontation with a few Goron passing down the mountain and it turned violent. King Darius IV quickly Mobilized Castle town's Military and prepared to send it to assist Kakariko, who was an Independent Hylian town. Kakariko, in fear of eventual annexation by the Castle, refused the help and managed to calm the situation with only minor injury reports. However, this also provoked Darunia, tribal chief of the Gorons to ready his troops as well.
Both Armies are preparing for battle, with Kakariko squished right in the middle of it all.. Will the conflict die down, or shall war once again be declared in Hyrule?
