(Work in progress)
The Hylians :
The Hylians were the first to establish organised civilization in ancient Hyrule and tend to live in densely populated towns and cities. The name "Hylian" comes from the Goddess Hylia, who is said to be in direct bloodline with the royal family.
The Hylian army of Hyrule castle is by far the most powerful, wielding swords and spears along side thick armor sometimes made of leather and metal pieces and sometimes even shields. They have the potential as well to become very powerful magic users, though very few remain who can teach the old art of magic.
The Hylians produce mostly domestic goods and potions, trading with other Hylian towns while for the most part excluding trade relations with the other two factions.
The Gorons :
The Goron are one of the oldest races, having been around since the very beginning of Hyrule. Due to their diet of mostly rocks, they tend to live on or around mountains. The Gorons of Hyrule are treated with some of the most 'Delicious' rocks in Hyrule originating from a cave called 'Dodongo's Cavern' near Goron City. These rocks are both softer and smoother than rocks found elsewhere in Hyrule and have become the main source of food for the entire city.
Physically, A Goron could easily outmatch a Hylian 1v1 due to their immense strength. They also have a very thick layer of rock-like skin completely covering their backs that allows for added power and protection when they use their special ability.
This ability allows them to curl into a ball, completely covered by the rock hard skin on their backs and launch themselves forward in a chaotic and highly inaccurate roll attack .
Reproduction is a hard kept secret within the Goron Tribes, as there appears to be no females whatsoever and even infant Goron are male. Gorons also refer heavily to each other as 'Brother' with Darunia being "Big Brother".
Though normally quite peaceful, Gorons can become a huge problem for whoever enrages them, and they are known to be die-hard loyal to their own kind.
The Zoras :
The Zora are an aquatic people that inhabit Hyrule. They have made their home far up the Zora River inside of a large cave. Normally highly aggressive to any trespassers in their territory, the Zora are known to attack and even kill explores who venture too far up river.
The Zora vary from pale grey to even blueish green and have long, fish like tails resembling hair growing from the back of their heads. As well as being the fastest moving race in Hyrule, they can also breathe in and out of water indefinitely, allowing easy passage up[ the treacherous Zora river to their home in Zora's Domain.
As well as the three goddesses, the Zora warship a separate deity, a large sea creature named Jabu who resides deep within the domain, in a lake near the rear of the cave.
The Deku Scrubs :
The Deku Scrubs of Hyrule are inhabitants of the Deku woods and can often be found within the Kokiri forest as well. This plant-like race is quite tribal in nature, with a chief leading the fairly large number of scrubs.
Most Deku Scrubs do not in fact have any arms, setting them at a large disadvantage. However, they have evolved quite a capable defense, using their very powerful, vacuum like mouth to shoot extremely hard seeds at their enemies, which can cause intense pain and even lead to broken bones.
The Deku Scrubs share a very close relationship with their fellow forest dwellers the Kokiri, and would surely rise to the defense of the forest, should it be threatened.
